Freshwater farm plans are legislated as a requirement for horticulture farms greater than 5ha, and livestock farms greater than 20ha. In addition, there may be regional requirements for farm plans. The system has some customisation for these requirements already in place or coming soon. For example:
– Environment Canterbury: supports Schedule 7 requirements and will be an “Approved template” to use by the Canterbury Regional Council
– Waikato Regional Council: coming soon – Plan Change 1
– Southland Regional Council: you can add “physiograhic” maps as needed
